Marathi Meals on Wheels (“MMOW”) coordinates community ordering and delivery of homestyle food prepared by independent local chefs (“Chefs”). mPath Services operates the website and coordinates ordering, customer communications, payments, and delivery logistics. Chefs, rather than MMOW, are responsible for cooking, ingredients, preparation practices, and food safety within their respective operations.
1) What This Policy Covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Marathi Meals on Wheels (“MMOW,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by mPath Services, collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects information obtained through:
The MMOW website;
Weekly menus and order forms;
Sunday Stock-Up ordering;
Email, text, WhatsApp, phone, or other customer communications;
Payment confirmation;
Delivery coordination;
Customer feedback, reviews, and photographs; and
Other MMOW-related services and interactions.
MMOW coordinates ordering, customer communication, payment confirmation, and delivery. Food is prepared by independent local chefs (“Chefs”).
This Policy applies to information handled by MMOW and mPath Services. Independent Chefs, payment providers, website platforms, and other third-party services may have their own privacy practices.

Contact and Customer Information
We may collect:
Name;
Email address;
Phone number;
Delivery address;
Customer or order identification number;
Preferred communication method; and
Information needed to identify or communicate with you.
Order and Delivery Information
We may collect:
Items and quantities ordered;
Weekly menu selections;
Add-ons and special items;
Requested delivery date;
Delivery instructions;
Gate codes, building information, or safe-drop instructions;
Recipient information when ordering for another person;
Order changes, cancellations, credits, or refunds; and
Delivery-status information or proof of delivery.
Please provide only delivery-access information that is reasonably necessary. Avoid including alarm codes, financial passwords, or other unrelated confidential information.
Dietary, Allergy, and Preference Information
You may voluntarily provide information such as:
Food allergies or intolerances;
Dietary restrictions;
Spice preferences;
No-onion or no-garlic requests;
Jain-style preparation requests;
Ingredient concerns; or
Other food-related preferences.
This information is used only to review the request, communicate it to the applicable Chef, and coordinate your order.
Please do not submit detailed medical records, diagnoses, prescriptions, insurance information, or other sensitive health information. MMOW does not provide medical or nutritional advice and cannot use such information for medical purposes.
Payment Information
MMOW currently accepts payment through Zelle.
MMOW does not collect or store:
Your online-banking password;
Your Zelle login credentials;
Your full bank-account number; or
Your debit-card credentials.
Payment is completed through your bank or payment provider.
MMOW may retain limited payment-related records, such as:
Amount paid;
Date received;
Customer name;
Payment note;
Transaction or confirmation reference;
Payment status; and
Information needed for bookkeeping, refunds, credits, or tax records.
Communications
We may retain information you send through:
Email;
Website or Google forms;
Text messages;
WhatsApp;
Phone calls or voicemail;
Social-media messages;
Feedback forms; or
Other communication channels.
This may include questions, requests, complaints, reviews, delivery instructions, and order-related discussions.
Website and Technical Information
When you visit the MMOW website or use an online form, the website platform, analytics provider, or related service may automatically collect limited technical information, such as:
Internet Protocol address;
Browser or device type;
Operating system;
Approximate geographic area;
Referring page;
Pages viewed;
Date and time of access;

MMOW’s website is hosted through Google Sites and may use Google Analytics or related Google services to understand website visits and usage.
Google Sites can use cookies, including cookies connected with Google Analytics, and Google may display cookie notices or consent controls in certain locations.
Reviews, Testimonials, and Media
If you voluntarily provide a review, testimonial, photograph, video, or other customer feedback, we may collect and retain that content along with limited identifying information.
We will normally use a first name, first name and last initial, initials, or another limited identifier unless you authorize broader identification.
3) How We Use Information
We may use collected information to:
Receive, review, process, and confirm orders;
Coordinate Sunday Stock-Up and other MMOW offerings;
Communicate menu availability, substitutions, or order questions;
Relay relevant order information to the applicable Chef;
Coordinate routing and delivery;
Confirm payment;
Process credits, adjustments, cancellations, or refunds;
Send receipts and order records;
Provide customer support;
Send weekly menus, ordering reminders, service announcements, and MMOW updates;
Improve menus, forms, communications, delivery routes, and operations;
Analyze website use and performance;
Detect fraud, spam, bots, misuse, or security problems;
Maintain accounting, tax, operational, and legal records;
Enforce our Terms and Conditions;
Protect MMOW, Chefs, delivery personnel, customers, and others;
Respond to legal requests or government authorities; and
Comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use allergy or dietary information to make medical decisions or provide health advice.
4) How We Share Information
We share information only when reasonably necessary for MMOW operations, order fulfillment, communication, safety, legal compliance, or the purposes described in this Policy.
Independent Chefs
We may share information such as:
Ordered items and quantities;
Customer first name or order identifier;
Dietary notes;
Allergy disclosures;
Preparation requests;
Relevant comments; and
Other information needed to prepare and package the order.
Chefs generally do not need your complete payment information.
Delivery Personnel or Delivery Partners
We may share:
Customer or recipient name;
Delivery address;
Phone number;
Delivery instructions;
Building or access information;
Delivery window;
Number of bags or packages; and
Other information reasonably necessary to complete delivery.
Service Providers
We may use third-party providers for:

Text or WhatsApp communications;

Analytics;
Payment confirmation;
Accounting;
Video or media;
Security and spam prevention; and
Other operational support.

Business Transition
If MMOW or relevant mPath Services operations are reorganized, transferred, sold, merged, or discontinued, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and reasonable privacy protections.
5) We Do Not Sell Personal Information
MMOW does not sell personal information.
We do not provide customer names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, order histories, allergy notes, or payment records to unrelated businesses for their independent marketing.
We may use service providers to help us operate MMOW, but that operational use is not a sale of your information.
6) Allergies, Dietary Information, and Other Sensitive Information
Information about allergies, dietary restrictions, or food preferences is provided voluntarily. MMOW may share this information with the applicable Chef when reasonably necessary to review or fulfill your order.
You understand that:
MMOW does not provide medical advice;
MMOW cannot verify the medical accuracy of information you submit;
Independent kitchens may contain or process common allergens;
Cross-contact may occur;
Submitting an allergy note does not guarantee allergen-free preparation; and
You should not submit medical information beyond what is reasonably necessary for the food request.
If an order is placed for another person, you are responsible for having appropriate authority to provide that person’s delivery and dietary information.
7) Marketing and Service Communications
Order and Service Communications
MMOW may contact you regarding:
Order confirmation;
Payment;
Menu availability;
Changes or substitutions;
Delivery;
Cancellations;
Food-safety concerns;
Account or customer-service matters; and
Other information necessary to fulfill an order or operate the service.
These communications are considered operational and may continue when you have an active or recently submitted order.
Weekly Menus and Promotional Communications
MMOW may also send:
Weekly menus;
Ordering reminders;
New program announcements;
Seasonal or festival offerings;
Customer updates;
Surveys;
News about MMOW; and
Other promotional or informational communications.
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails by using the unsubscribe option provided in the message or by contacting mmow@mpathservices.com.
You may request that promotional text or WhatsApp messages stop by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, or by contacting MMOW.
Opting out of marketing does not prevent necessary order, payment, safety, or delivery communications.
8) Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies
The MMOW website may use cookies or similar technologies necessary for:
Website functionality;
Forms;
Security;
Remembering basic settings;
Measuring website use;
Understanding customer navigation; and
Improving content and communications.
MMOW may use Google Analytics to receive aggregated or technical information about website activity.
Analytics information may include device, browser, approximate location, referral source, pages viewed, and interactions. MMOW does not use analytics to obtain your bank credentials or the private contents of your Zelle account.
You may be able to limit cookies through:
Your browser settings;
Cookie or consent controls shown by the website platform;
Privacy extensions; or
Settings provided by the relevant service provider.
Blocking certain cookies may affect website functionality or cause analytics information to be incomplete. Google states that rejecting analytics cookies can cause website-usage reporting to undercount visits and activity.
9) Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, MMOW operations, customer support, accounting, tax records, legal compliance, dispute resolution, safety, fraud prevention, and enforcement of agreements.
Typical Retention Practices
Order and customer communications: generally retained for up to 24 months for operating and customer-service purposes;
Payment, accounting, tax, credit, and refund records: may be retained longer when needed for bookkeeping, tax, legal, or audit purposes;
Delivery records and delivery confirmation: retained as part of the related order record;
Allergy and dietary notes: generally retained with the order or customer communication in which they were provided;
Marketing contact information: retained until you unsubscribe, request deletion, or the information is no longer reasonably needed;
Reviews and testimonials: may be retained while they remain relevant to MMOW marketing or business records;
Website analytics: retained according to the settings and practices of MMOW and the applicable analytics provider; and
Legal or safety records: retained as necessary for a legal hold, investigation, dispute, insurance matter, or legal requirement.
When information is no longer reasonably needed, MMOW may delete it, anonymize it, aggregate it, or limit its use. Retention periods are guidelines rather than guarantees that every record will be deleted on an exact date.
10) Your Choices and Requests
You may contact MMOW to request:
Access to personal information we reasonably maintain about you;
Correction of inaccurate contact or delivery information;
Deletion of eligible personal information;
Removal from promotional communications; or
Clarification about how information has been used or shared.

Please include enough information for us to identify the relevant records. We may need to verify your identity before providing, changing, or deleting information. MMOW may be unable to delete information that must reasonably be retained for:
Completed transactions;
Accounting or tax obligations;
Fraud prevention;

Dispute resolution;
Enforcement of agreements; or
Establishment or defense of legal claims.
We will respond within a reasonable period based on the nature and complexity of the request.
11) Security
MMOW uses reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical measures intended to protect information from unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, loss, or disclosure.
Measures may include:
Limiting access to information;
Password and account controls;
Spam or bot protection;
Secure third-party platforms;
Device and account security;
Record minimization;
Access monitoring; and
Other safeguards appropriate to a small-business operation.
No website, email system, form, device, cloud service, or data-transmission method is completely secure. MMOW cannot guarantee absolute security.
Please do not send:
Online-banking passwords;
Complete bank-account details;
Social Security numbers;
Driver’s-license images;
Detailed medical records; or
Other information not reasonably necessary for an MMOW order.
If MMOW becomes aware of a security incident involving information covered by applicable breach-notification law, MMOW will investigate and provide legally required notices. Missouri’s breach statute covers businesses that maintain personal information concerning Missouri residents and sets notification duties when qualifying information is compromised.
12) Information About Other People
You may provide information about another person when:
Ordering food for them;
Coordinating a gift;
Assisting a senior or family member;
Arranging caregiving or recovery support; or
Providing an alternate delivery contact.
By submitting another person’s information, you represent that you are authorized to provide it for the order and delivery. Please share only information reasonably necessary to complete the order.
13) Children
MMOW is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has submitted personal information without appropriate parental involvement, we may delete it.
The federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Rule applies to child-directed online services and to general-audience services that knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

MMOW does not control the privacy, security, cookies, or data practices of these third parties. You should review the applicable third party’s privacy policy before submitting information through its service.
15) Changes to This Privacy Policy
MMOW may update this Privacy Policy to reflect:
Changes to Sunday Stock-Up or other services;
New communication or ordering tools;
Changes in analytics or website technology;
Changes in vendors;
New legal requirements; or
Changes in MMOW’s information practices.
The Effective Date at the top identifies the latest version.
Material changes will be posted on the website and may also be communicated by email or another reasonable method when appropriate.
Continued use of the website or MMOW services after an updated Policy becomes effective means that the revised Policy applies to information collected or handled after that date, subject to applicable law.
